Witches Regatta started 2017 as a enchanting way to haunt Tempe Town Lake every Halloween.
Witches! It's time for the 9th annual Witches Regatta! Halloween morning at 9:30am. Come dressed as a witch or you may get ditched! We will meet on the NORTH side of the lake Tempe Town Lake Marina. Media at 9:30, witches take flight 10am. Witches are encouraged to wear their best cloak and float the eerie waters of this urban lake. Bewitching? Yes, beautiful witches (and Warlocks) will cast a spell as they fly East and then West around the lake.
This is a MEET-UP, it is not a city sponsored event. You are responsible for your own safety. Boards are available to rent but MUST BE RESERVED IN ADVANCE. Inflatable boards $35. (Please sign up so you can can stay updated on event details).
EVENT IS FREE! Show up on northside of the lake meet at the boat ramp!!

Why is it on a Thursday? Its Halloween. Its also REALLY expensive to host an official event at Tempe Town Lake...like $8500!
